Marmot Curiosity

Mount Evans Wilderness Area, CO

Curiosity gets the best of this adult yellow-bellied marmot, looking out from talus rocks abvove timberline. Sometimes called "whistle pig" for their high-pitched warning call, marmots are common in high mountain rocky slopes. They eat green vegetation and hibernate through the winter months. This image shows the long digging claws that enable marmots to tunnel under rock piles.

The Duraplaq Standard substrate is a 3/8" HDF board that is 100% recycled, environmentally friendly and is pre-laminated on both sides and finished with a "box" frame. The finished picture has a clean look and the matte laminate greatly reduces glare, allowing you to see the image. Duraplaq mounted prints can be cleaned with your normal glass cleaning products and are extremely durable.
