Crestones Sunrise

Sangre De Cristo Wilderness Area, Colorado

Sunrise lights Crestone Needle (L, 14,191'), Crestone Peak (R, 14,294') and Humboldt Peak in the foreground (14,064'). Humboldt is in my opinion one of Colorado's finest alpine wonderland viewpoints, with countless Sangre De Cristo giants, including the iconic Crestones piercing the skyline. To reach Humboldt by sunrise, we left our camp in the South Colony Lakes area at around 3:30 a.m., arriving just in time for warm first light. This image was the cover for the 20i3 Skyline Press Fourteener Calendar.

DuraPlaq Mounted

The Duraplaq Standard substrate is a 3/8" HDF board that is 100% recycled, environmentally friendly and is pre-laminated on both sides and finished with a "box" frame. The finished picture has a clean look and the matte laminate greatly reduces glare, allowing you to see the image. Duraplaq mounted prints can be cleaned with your normal glass cleaning products and are extremely durable.
