The highest fourteener in the Needles Range, Mount Eolus catches first light in late August. Eolus stands 14,083' and towers over Chicago Basin in the San Juan Mountains. It is one of three fourteeners in the area and frequently climbed with Sunlight Peak and Windom Peak.
