Great Gray Closeup

Teton County, Wyoming

Great gray owls are uncommonly seen throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. This particular owl was spotted outside of Jackson, Wyoming near Grand Teton National Park. The Great gray is North America's largest owl in size, up to 27" long, but they're actually a lot of feather and weigh around 3 1/2 pounds. Northwest Wyoming is the very southern range for these "ghosts of the forest", which are more common in northern boreal forests.

The Duraplaq Standard substrate is a 3/8" HDF board that is 100% recycled, environmentally friendly and is pre-laminated on both sides and finished with a "box" frame. The finished picture has a clean look and the matte laminate greatly reduces glare, allowing you to see the image. Duraplaq mounted prints can be cleaned with your normal glass cleaning products and are extremely durable.
