Juvenile Bald Eagle Portrait

Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, Colorado

A juvenile bald eagle loafs on a cottonwood branch along the shores of Lake Ladora. He tolerated my presence while I photographed from my vehicle with a window mount. I left without disturbing the bird. Winter is the season for eagles on the prairie along the Front Range and numbers have steadily increased in recent years.

DuraPlaq Mounted

The Duraplaq Standard substrate is a 3/8" HDF board that is 100% recycled, environmentally friendly and is pre-laminated on both sides and finished with a "box" frame. The finished picture has a clean look and the matte laminate greatly reduces glare, allowing you to see the image. Duraplaq mounted prints can be cleaned with your normal glass cleaning products and are extremely durable.
